Soem-t

I attempted a SOEM T install today on my Jeep Grand Cherokee 2010.
I am stumped currently.

I can not get any power to my amp.
Blue/Black is to ground
Blue to my memphis amp remote turn on
Yellow I did to the cig lighter plugin.

Im pretty sure I followed this straight from the SOEM T Diagram.
One thing I did notice is the cig light is not a remote turn on/off, it is a constant on... because I plugged in a air compressor to it while engine was off and it worked.
So could this be my problem?
I thought I read that cig lighter was used for remote turn on.

Any suggestions?
Now I also need to find a new remote turn on spot if this is true!

Thanks
Going to try again tomorrow.....
