What do I need to install an Indash w/boston system

Hey guys and gals, I want to install and indash in my 07 WK, and the guy at the stereo shop said that I need almost 500 bucks in extra equipment to make it work with the Boston system. Has anyone done this? also can you recommend some good door speakers and dash speakers. I don't want the best, just somewhere in the middle. Thanks all

you gotta pay to play man. If you dont like the additional costs leave the stock unit alone and just change your speakers.

Maybe. I put a ddin in my 07 that gad boston system factory.

Well you need the master harness.
Then if you have steering controls that's an ad on. XM is another adapter. Antenna adapter.

Go to crutch field and see what they tell you.

there´s a radio (touch, navigation, etc) that you can plug without the ddin, and plugs to factory everything, search ebay

Once you have all the Metra part numbers for amplified harness steering controls antenna adapter and install kit go on amazon you can find them cheap as hell. The 130 dollar harness u need to work with the Boston acoustic set up I got for 15 bucks new in the package. The wiring is such a huge mark up. Antenna adapter 20 buck at best buy 3 dollars amazon. Steering wheel control adapter 79 at best buy 20 on amazon. Don't remember what I paid for the I stall kit but I think 8 bucks.
