Smile A good mechanic in the NY area.

Hello guys,

There's a summary at the bottom of this post for those that don't like a wall of text.

First of all I wanted to say thank you to all of the members here. This is my first post but I've been all around this forum (and some other jeep forums) trying to fix up my 2005 WK. Let me start by giving a brief background to me and my Jeep. I live in Brooklyn, New York in a residential apartment building with no access to a garage, hence I've done all of my repairs thus far just parking on the hydrant and hoping neighbors won't complain. I own a 2005 Grand Cherokee (WK) 5.7L Hemi. Bought it off my dad as he decided to lease a 2014 Jeep GC Overland. Jeep got 130,000 miles on it, 90k of which are highway miles as my dad would drive it to work and back (he works in Jersey.)

I have so far (with the help of this forum and Google) did all the oil changes / spark plugs and other regular maintenance. I have replaced heating core / evaporator, AC compressor and lines (pretty much entire HVAC system.) I have changed wheel hubs, rotors, pads, calipers, master brake cylinder and fluids. Replaced the transmission filters, oil, and solenoid pack (fixed my transmission over temp. issues.) I got a Volant 17861 CAI installed, shorty spark plug wires, billstein shocks and minor upgrades here and there. Next thing to tackle would be exhaust, can't find any headers that would work for 5.7 hemi, so far I got Borla cat-back installed. Oh and Superchips tuned.

Still got plenty of minor issues to fix, but i do hope that with time my Jeep will be immaculate.

This brings me to the topic of this post (sorry for the long intro).
As many WKs, I got broken off manifold bolts. Sadly it is not a job i can tackle myself in this heat outside. I bought the bolts and the gaskets, went around Brooklyn and stopped by 5 or 6 shops. Only one shop had a mechanic that actually knew what was wrong (the rest just made smart faces and tried to BS me... too bad for them, I actually know how to fix it.) He quoted me $550 for the labor and said it will take 2 days to get it done. I was hoping that you guys can possibly recommend me a shop somewhere in NY, removing the bolts is a lot of labor, but i don't know if I want to pay $550 for it.

P.S. "I just bought a magnaflow cats and y-pipe and new oxygen sensors. Hoping to get that done at the same time as the broken-off bolts."

Once again, thanks for being an awesome and helpful community.

For those that just don't have the time to read it all:

2005 Grand Cherokee 5.7 Hemi broken off manifold bolts (both sides). Need recommendation on a shop / mechanic that hopefully charges less than $550.
