Airaid '05-'07 WK intake on '08 WK

After talking with a few members on the board and back and forth with Airaid, I decided to see if their intake meant for '05-'07 3.7L WK's (#311-205) would fit on my '08.

Original thread for reference

UPS dropped it off this morning, just finished installing it and I can say that yes it does fit. Doesn't appear to be any fitment issues with the hood as originally anticipated, however there is a minor issue with connecting it to the throttle body.

The problem is that the supplied 'reducer' hose to go from the main intake tube to the TB is far too big (and short)... apparently the outer diameter of the '05-'07 TB's is noticeably larger than the '08 electronic TB. Luckily, there is a quick solution -- the stock hose connecting the air resonator to the TB will do the trick. The stock has a bit of a 'sleeve' where you can insert the Airaid reducer hose into, and clamp it all down.

Also need to mention that the placement of the TB seems to be a bit different as the angle of the hose and tube isn't quite ideal. Have to mess with all the hoses and clamps to get everything to fit without slipping off (mainly an issue at the TB). Ideally, I'm going to try and find a longer section of hose to go from the intake tube to the throttle body and all should be kosher.

I'll update with pics in a week or so -- have a FRP TB on order and would just as well wait to remove everything again and take pics.
