car won't start!! =/

So my engine clicks but won't budge when I try to start my car. I knocked at the starter and clicked some wired button that's located right near my handle to open the mask of my car. Got my car to start. I drove it home to get it fixed. I figured it's my started. Replaced that just to find out it's not the case. Anybody have any ideas what it may be?! I have an alarm and remote start. Thinking that may affect it? It's a grand jeep cherokee laredo. Thanks in advanced for the help.

If you ask your questions only at one place, you won´t have to answer the same question several times.

Could be because the question was quite obscure with pretty much zero information that would allow anything more than a wild guess, particularly if there are aftermarket theft devices installed.

With full headlights on for at least 2-3 minutes, do they dim at all when you try the start?

What is the click?
Is it the click of the starter solenoid engaging, but the starter doesn't crank?

Can you start by bridging that solenoid? [not recommended unless you know how]

Voltage across battery with no load, vs across battery with headlights on for at least
5 minutes?

Voltage from battery to starter solenoid

Voltage from battery to frame vs voltage across battery

Where it may well be something in any after market theft device as opposed to weak battery, loose ground, dirty cables--although those are always the place to start.

Transmission type, and in park or not [can be bad switch, but then you should not get any solenoid click at all...]
