DIY WK 2005-2010 3.7L Spark Plug Details

I didn't see the exact details on this posted so thought I would put up for those wanting the clear guidance. Save money and purchase yourself without the higher priced Mopar tag from the dealer.

OEM Plug details are as follows:

3.7 V6
Mopar p/n SPZFR6F11G (NGK)
(.042 gap, 6 plugs, tighten to 20 ft. lbs.)

Same exact plugs I picked up at Advance Auto Parts for a fifth of the cost.

Advance Auto Part # 6987
NGK V-Power
Part # ZFR6F-11G

I replaced mine last year with a platinum instead of the factory copper core plug.

Re: DIY WK 2005-2010 3.7L Spark Plug Details

Rock Auto only says it has plugs that have a gap of .044 or .035 I'm a little stumped here. Help? LOL

Re: DIY WK 2005-2010 3.7L Spark Plug Details

Those are the identical plugs that came out of my motor during my first plug change. I got the new ones at the stealership at a discount, but either way go pickup a set and be done with it already!

.043 gap is what you want them set to

this is directly off WKJEEPS:

3.7 V6
Mopar p/n SPZFR6F11G (NGK)
(.042 gap 2005-2007 / .043 gap 2008-2010, 6 plugs, tighten to 20 ft. lbs.)
