Red face evic settings

Hi guys, hoping some one can help me out with how i set the language and other settings on a grand cherokee limited edition 1999 model.(EVIC) and overhead consul. Thanks.

Been a while since I had my '02 but if I recall correctly you press "menu" till you get to the languages section and then press "step" to change to the language of your choice. Here's a link to all the information you'd want about your EVIC… http://www.wjjeeps.com/evic.htm

Thank you for the reply, i have only just bought this 4wd and so not full bottle on it.
The display unit i am trying to reset is the larger led display in front of the gear shift. Is this unit also set by the one in the overhead consul? i don't know if the australian jeeps are that much different? dose anyone know where i could get a user manual for the 1999 model?
