Smile Grand Cherokee WK engine failed to start...

This could happen to anyone, outback or in the city.

The engine won't start if any fluid container is empty. Okay for oil and other essential fluids, but also applies to the windscreen washer reservoir.

You are in a bind if you don't happen to have any suitable fluid. So make sure it's topped up regularly and always carry some spare fluid.

- and if you have to resort to using beer, sit back, relax, and drink it first....!

Re: Grand Cherokee WK engine failed to start...

I think you are misinformed. The engine will most certainly start with the washer fluid reservoir empty.

Re: Grand Cherokee WK engine failed to start...

It appears he is referring to the WK. Hmm, maybe that is the reason they came out with the WK2... able to run with empty washer fluid container.

If you own a WK2, it won't start if the windscreen washer container is empty.

My jeep doesn't start if the drivers seat is empty.
