Re: [Guide] WK H1 Mini Morimoto Retrofitting Low Beam

An HID kit is actually less expensive. The only problem I have with HID's in a fog light housing, is that I've heard they cause alot of glare.

And they can eventually ruin the lens.

I may just leave the factory bulb in the fogs. I just ordered my headlights from 1aauto.com

Like III2for3III mentioned, V-LED's is the way to go.

Re: [Guide] WK H1 Mini Morimoto Retrofitting Low Beam

There is a complete Morimoto retrofit kit in the for sale forum for only $200. It includes the Morimoto ballasts that I want and everything.

It's a steal.

Re: [Guide] WK H1 Mini Morimoto Retrofitting Low Beam

I'd rather do yellow LEDs in the fogs for the visual caution aspect (so that other people can see me) and a clean look.

HIDs down there cause way to much glare.

After having HIDs with projectors, there is no way I can go back to HIDs in halogen housings. I refuse.

Not if you have it in projectors, then it's manageable somewhat.

Yes, you'll most likely need a pair of resistors.

Re: [Guide] WK H1 Mini Morimoto Retrofitting Low Beam

quick question: Did you remove all of the black glue? I left it, I didnt know whether to take it all out or not. I was thinking that it could be possible to heat it back up when I am finished and make it seal back together. I am going to use the glue that RFS sales.

Also, how do you remove the low beam bulb cover? I tried pushing it from the back but it does not want to budge!

Thanks
