Question HELP REMOVING TRAILER HITCH please

So i recently bought a 06 jeep GC 5.7 hemi and i just dropped the heavy spare and want to remove the trailer hitch in order to run my true dual exhaust through the rear, i cant find any write ups on how to remove it but your input would be great, im pretty sure i need to remove the rear bumper to gain access to the bolts but if anyone has a step by step on a simple way to do it please chime in!!! thanks in advance!

Have you looked at it. I took mine off last year but I was swapping bumpers so i don't remember if the bumper MUST COME OFF. 4 bolts hold on the hitch. Was simple task IIRC.

Going to get a pic of mine.
