Re: How to-2008 OEM Jeep Grand Cherokee HID headlights on an 05-07

thats really all he needs. the Euro lamps(RH drivers) are aimed higher on the left(pass side) similar to how ours are aimed higher on the pass side.

Re: How to-2008 OEM Jeep Grand Cherokee HID headlights on an 05-07

it could be a tad...but not enough to hurt anything. I added some australian headlights to another vehicle I ownerd and all I did was lower the passenger lamp to even out the lamps.

Re: How to-2008 OEM Jeep Grand Cherokee HID headlights on an 05-07

I'm confused... Why do we say that the wiring is different for the 08-10? 05-07 are also requiring an additionnal relay harness to power the ballast no ?

Yes I understand that, but what I'm saying is that regardless it's 08 or an 07 you need to have the relay harness to make it work ?

Sorry I should have make myself more clear. I have an 08 with halogene setup. To retrofit this with hid oem, do I need the realy harness also or is it just plug and play and then just need to activate the relay in the body control module throught starmobile ?
Thanks.

Well if it was just OEM halogens from 08+ on a 05-7 then yes, plus n play. But going to the hids you'll also need the ballasts. For that you dont have to stock with oem as there is a wide market for em

Edit. Seen you have the 08 to begin with, you'll need the ballast then and the bulbs and follow the how to on it

...hum very strange. I thought plugging in an 08-10 oem hid headlight set (that usually comes with ballast and bulbs) into an 08 vehicle would just be plug and play ... Then will need the help of starmobile/stealership to activate the relay in the body control module after of course.

No sorry...harness for the 08-10 oem hid is different from the 08-10 halogens. Follow this how to.
