M8,
Did you use a capacitor an diode in serie at the light switch to relay connection (or also at light switch ground) ?

Thanks for your reply.
I've seen these pics before but I could't tell if there was an "Actual Gap" or its just the clear part of the headlight housing.

From what I have heard you can just swap the lenses. Maybe more than you want to get in to though. I haven't had a chance to verify this though.

I think the channel the lenses fit into on the assemblies are the same. Again not 100% sure though. I'd love to test this out at some point.

Honestly if there's no gap between the bumper and the bottom of the headlight I'm okay with that. I'm getting a black housing anyway so it should be fine.

I'm trying to test a 2008 headlight first before I make the purchase. If there's no gap i'm in.

Thanks for the confirmation Scott. Honestly it looks like its sitting flush in these pics or maybe the gap is so small.

So A full conversion is the way to go correct?

Re: How to-2008 OEM Jeep Grand Cherokee HID headlights on an 05-07

I found a damaged 08-10 bumper for like $35....cut enough material off with the humps to form these using bonds and filler. Then had them painted and stuck on with 3m double sided tape. But I recommend to go ahead and do the 08-10 bumper and grille if u can. All you need is the cover, grille and small plastic bumper bracket.

Guys, may I ask where did you attach the driver side relay (the one for the driver side relay harness) ?
For the passenger relay I attached it right beside the coolant reservoir. There is a threaded stud right there where the block heater cable use to be hooked on.
Thanks.
