Re: HOW TO: ADD an SRT exhaust to a non SRT WK

So what about the tranny with the 4.7? its got a tow/haul mode in mine, that to me says it can tow. The srt8 i understand though, its a HI performance machine not a work truck.

Re: HOW TO: ADD an SRT exhaust to a non SRT WK

If you still want to keep your muffler, or add a aftermarket one, you can have the srt exhaust added after the muffler with a much shorter Y pipe. That is how I did mine...Not very loud with the stock muffler, but it still has a nice sound.

Re: HOW TO: ADD an SRT exhaust to a non SRT WK

oh yea Travis. post up some pics. theres definetely other ways to do it and I dont want people to think my way is the only way. I removed the stock wk muffler becasue it was so huge.....like 4 ft long and 100 pounds.(maybe not that big....but it was huge) I suggest an aftermarket or the keep the SRT muffler if you need a muffler.

Re: HOW TO: ADD a Jeep SRT8 exhaust to a non-SRT 8 Grand Cherokee

but I will add...all nonSRT WK exhausts are the same from the muffler out...except the 5.7 V8 has a resonator at the rear

Just got mine installed. Though when I brought it home the tips are no longer lined up so now driving back to the shop to have them fix the dam thing. Pain in the balls.
