It actually sounds like my Magnaflow I had on but a bit throatier taking off. At cruising its quiet like the magnaflow. It is no where near as "loud" as I thought it would be without a muffler. There is no way to fit the tips up into the Laredo bumper since the frame is right there at the bottom, the srt bumper is much lower. Im happy with the look of it, how the resinators are tucked undernieth and cant be sene which was one of my big issues I was worried about.

Now im the only WK in my area with dual tips, and I think my Jeep looks sick but mostly because of the drop on it.

Travis how did you do it?

IMO delete the muffler. I have a 3.7 with the srt resinators and tips with no muffler and it is not loud at all. I think if I kept the muffler it would sound like a stock exhaust and would hear nothing.

Just have a shop weld on a Y pipe after your muffler that goes to the dual srt pipes over the axle then the dual resinators back to the tips. Its pretty basic. If you have the stock muffler still on it might be tight because the WK muffler is so dam big and long, twice the size of the Magnaflow muffler i recently had on.

Happened to me too with the new tips. It happens with the heat of the exhaust than they go back to normal.

Re: HOW TO: ADD a Jeep SRT8 exhaust to a non-SRT 8 Grand Cherokee

Then chop off the muffler.

Just try it out, if you dont like how it sounds, then have it re-installed.

dont listen toi Joey. Remove the muffler...not the resonator. Without the resonator you will have massive drone.
