Re: How to angle your side-view mirrors the RIGHT way--no blind spot!

I just have the stick on mirrors for the blind spots. Although one day I was driving my moms SHO and looked down at her mirrors and thought that she had the same thing on her car and ended up cutting off a van...... I ended up turning down a random street so the driver of the van wouldn't be next to me at the light

Been doing it this way for years. I have never figured out why not too many do it this way. I know what's in my blind spot with a quick glance.

Re: How to angle your side-view mirrors the RIGHT way--no blind spot!

A couple of months ago, Car & Driver also had this as a tip. Doesn't take long to get used to the "new" way and it does work. Thanks for bringing it up.

Re: How to angle your side-view mirrors the RIGHT way--no blind spot!

I too have my mirrors set-up this way. I have even gone as far as taken it out on the highway and let people pass me on the left and right to capture just a slight overlap from my rearview mirror to the side mirrors. Works awesome! I too used to admire my door paint in the past. I actually read this tip in Car and Driver a while back. Thanks for sharing.
