Saw this browsing some jeep sites, thought it would be a great watch for those wanting to save a few bucks. Especially since the belt is a important replacement.
Hah! This simple tip saved me loads of heartache once I had my belt off due to a mechanic routing it incorrectly. I couldn't get it back on until I saw this idea. Thanks a million for posting it!!!!
i changed mine yesterday and it was even easier than the video made it look. i put on a goodyear gatorback. my old belt seemed fine after 60k (no cracks or fraying) but the new one is much quieter. the belt was around $40 at a local auto store and seems worth it since it got rid of that annoying loud belt noise.
