TIPS-
The fuel line is NOT difficult... you don't even need to disconnect it IF YOUR GOOD. Just remove the 4 bolts holding the fuel rail to the intake and lift the rail up CAREFULLY maneuver it over (out of the way) to the drivers side. Your injectors will stay attached to the rail. When your done just CAREFULLY maneuvering your fuel rail and injectors back into place... push down visually insuring nothing is interfering with the installation... then reinstall the 4 bolts and snug them down..

After that you should be able to lift it right out.
Very nice write up! You make it look simple enough. I know the 2008 intake was a night and day difference over the 2002 H/O intake I had installed.

Re: HOW TO:Install 2008 4.7 intake manifold on a 2006

Do you guys think this would be a doable job in a driveway for a pretty mechanically inclined guy? Did it come with instructions on how to install? Dude if you gain 70 horsepower from the intake, i will buy one the same day. I actually will be getting a little side money of about 400 bones next weekend, combined with my birthday on the 29th, my money might already be spent.
