Did mine the same way as jlewissystem. It works great and costs about $2.50 for the bracket. (Some measurung, cutting, and drilling required).

Will the fender mount bracket that Billet Tech sells work on my 2005 5.7? They are asking $25 but I just wanted to be sure that it would mount up fine and still allow me to have my engine cover on.

I just got my catch can in the mail. It's smaller than I expected, interestingly enough. I'm going to go the L-bracket method. Take a few minutes of drilling and I'll be done with it.

I like the short hose path with that design, did you drill and tap into the firewall ?

Firewall is too thin to tap, just used a bolt with a large head and a large nut to pinch the firewall. You can easly access the cowel area by just pulling off the weather strip at the back of the hood to slide in the bolt. I used a little spray paint to seal up the hole so it will not rust (I hope).

Great idea. I just received my catch can in the mail. And I'll be installing it this way or very similar. Very nice.

Re: How to install a Billet Technology catch can on a 5.7L HEMI & retain the engine c

So my model didn't come with the 90 degree elbow on manifold coming from the PCV. Mine just has a curvy hose. Any idea where I could find the elbow part?

Thanks
