Re: How To : Install A JET 180 TStat

It always is "running" But there is a pressure regulator that will adjust how fast and when to go that fast.

From the manual:
Modify Tune Procedures
1. When selecting the “Modify tune” function, a disclaimer will
appear. Read and press “Enter” to continue.
2. The “modify Performance Tune menu will appear. You will
have 2 choices:
• Modify Parameters
• Reset all Parameters
3. Highlight the appropriate choice by using the arrow keys &
press “Enter”
4. In the “Modify Parameters” Menu the following choices will
appear for your Hemi applicable vehicle:
• Speed Limiter
• Idle Speed
• WOT Spark Advance
• WOT Fuel Table
• Knock sensor Enable/Disable
Cooling Fans

Yeap jeeps dont have that option about cooling Fans.
Mikel from diablosports response:

"I seem to recall here seeing a thread where it was described that the SUVs use a electric clutch fan, not a real electric fan."

http://diablosport.com/index.php?nam...wtopic&t=24553

so theres no way how to control the fan for proper tstat 180 mod.

Re: How To : Install A JET 180 TStat

That's off the manual thats set for a jeep... Its a hydraulic fan that runs off the power steering pump i though it was. (while the 4.7L is an electric fan and a optional clutch fan for towing package. It's there... people have done it. *shrug*

Re: How To : Install A JET 180 TStat

I talked to someone at diablo today and they said there are no fan settings for the u7137. So what good is the 180 stat if you can not change the fan settings.

Re: How To : Install A JET 180 TStat

You need to burp the system open the raditor cap a little and watch bubbles come up in the coolant bottle then it will work right. If can not change the fan setting on 5.7 hemi just 6.1.
