Re: How To: Install Interior LED Lights (a pictorial guide)

So I put the cargo LED in this afternoon...

Start...

Take off all the screws along the panel I started on the sides then moved to the bottom, handle, then top...

After that I got a peek at the bulb assembly but realized I'd be better off taking the panel off entirely instead of just trying to reach my hand in...

Detach the assembly from the wiring, out with the old, in with the new. Plug it back in and then seal everything back up...

The only part that gave me any trouble was aligning the housing with the cover to snap it back in to place. I tried to balance the panel while snapping the cover back into the housing so if you have someone who can lend you a hand by holding the panel it'd be a big help...

If you have any questions put them out there

Re: How To: Install Interior LED Lights (a pictorial guide)

Has anyone done the interior LED update on an 05? In a few of the pictures I have seen the front map lights are festoon bulbs, but the Sylvania Replacement Guide says it's a wedge.

Re: How To: Install Interior LED Lights (a pictorial guide)

I can probably get a picture of it tomorrow night. Long story short while I'm at school I can't leave much so I'm don't drive a lot. And when we do go out I don't drive either...

No classes tomorrow though but still have classes Friday morning so I'm planning on going out and being able to drive. I'll see what I can do

Re: How To: Install Interior LED Lights (a pictorial guide)

Anyone know about resistors?

I put two in my footwells to finish all the interior lights with exception to the glovebox and now the dome lights have a slight glow to them all them time. I was told I need a resistor, any ideas?

Re: How To: Install Interior LED Lights (a pictorial guide)

i got an 05 and replaced all the interior bulbs with LED's. Ever since I installed the bulbs, my lights will not turn on, and i can't adjust my side mirrors through the motor. I think its a fuse that's blown, but I can't locate the particular fuse, and I'm really not sure if that will solve it. Any help will be appreciated.

Re: How To: Install Interior LED Lights (a pictorial guide)

Being i've had my jeep for ...ooo, 24 hours now think i'll be changing most of the lights out for LEDs - have changed them in several cars previously and had no side effects or problems working
