Re: How To: Install Interior LED Lights (a pictorial guide)

SO I've replaced my Front and Rear dome lights. I am having trouble removing the covers for the footwell lights. What is the easiest way to do it?

I am worried I am going to be pulling something else off along with the cover...

Re: How To: Install Interior LED Lights (a pictorial guide)

No, you wont wreck anything taking this cover off. If it is anything like the 2006 foot well light cover, it should pop right off by pulling the cover down off the light assembly. If you need pics from me to show what this looks like let me know.

Re: How To: Install Interior LED Lights (a pictorial guide)

Thanks Mike I will let ya know. It appears as if you can pop off that thick white light cover but I wasn't sure.

If I get hung up further I will ask for some pics but I think I can get it.

The driver's side light is a biotch to get to huh...

Re: How To: Install Interior LED Lights (a pictorial guide)

Yeah I would recommend moving the seats in the all the way to the back so that you have more space to get yourself in there.

You might need resistors. What kind of LEDs have you put in?

Re: How To: Install Interior LED Lights (a pictorial guide)

A 478 Ohm resistor from a radioshack would solve the trick. It will remove the glow from interior lights when car is off.

Just pop in on one of the lights and waalaah

If it's a single led. Multiple LEDs raise the resistance an then you would

Need a lower resistor. (if they're in series).
