I followed this instructions and it seems there's a problem. After I use the blinker is supposed to go back to white, but instead stays off and then after a minute or two it slowly dims up to white again. I'm using the same 50W 3Ω resistors you are using.
Any idea? I wanted to try a 50W 2 or 1-1/2Ω resistors but I can't find any.

Im dealing with the same problem right now. Installed them wednesday and have the same issue, stay off for a min after turning the blinker off and they will shut off for a min or so them come back on. I put an email into vleds and they said I might have voltage leaking from somewhere, whatever that means. I am making a harness with plug type connectors and getting rid of the splice connectors. See if it works. I also have 13 watt red LEDs on there way for the rear, so installing them might fix it. If you are not getting rear LED's you might want to use the 6 ohm resistor instead. Thats what the vleds site claims, 6 ohm for 1 LED or 3 ohm hooked to 2 LEDs.

Re: How To: Install VLEDs Dual Color Turn Signals

no video. basically the white stays off for a min after the blinkers turn off, then driving close to cars at night I notice one of the white lights might be out but come back on. The blinker rate is perfect and no issues with the amber working. Some times i'll stop somewhere and one of the whites will be out but comes back on shortly. either the harness im making will fix it or waiting for my 13 watt led rears to get here. if that doesnt work im making vleds send me 6 ohm resistors. I already went and ordered 2x 50 watt 7 ohm resistors, 2x 25 watt 4 ohm resistors and 1 50 watt 1.2 ohm. was only 8 bucks shipped on ebay. maybe one of those might work.

I got home from my neighbors house where i installed them and for some reason i turn the lights on everything is good i signal it goes from white to amber then it just turns off and doesnt go back to white.. any ideas ?
