Chris I did. I have had it in there for almost 200 miles. Running Mobil 1 synthetic. Check it a few days here and there and still good. But going to change it this weekend.

Re: How To: Sea Foam Automotive Treatment

time for the waiting game. I am currently trying the sea foam treatment everyone loves. I have the 5.7 and I put 1 full can into the gas tank, 1/2 in the oil and 1/2 in the vac line. im excited to see the outcome, hope my neighbors dont get mad at all the smoke

Re: How To: Sea Foam Automotive Treatment

well the results are in and i am kind of disappointed. After I let the jeep sit for 20 minutes I went back out and it started right up just fine and no smoke at all. I let it run for a while and pushed the gas a little but still nothing. I took it out for a spirited drive around town and finally finally got a small cloud of white smoke but that was it. The jeeps got 66xxx on it so I guess it wasnt that dirty. Kind of sad I didnt get to smoke out the neighborhhod

Re: How To: Sea Foam Automotive Treatment

How/where did you introduce it into the engine? I use the pcv hose going into the side of the manifold. It gets dispersed evenly from there and it also helps clean the oil out of the intake .

You did do it with the engine cold, right? That way it doesnt boil off.

Re: How To: Sea Foam Automotive Treatment

i poured 1 can into the gas tank, 1/2 in the oil reservoir and 1/2 in the vacuum line, and no the engine was warm. The first thread in here says to heat up the engine before you start so the engine was warm when I was doing all this. Was that an issue?

Re: How To: Sea Foam Automotive Treatment

Did you run it through the whole tankful of gas yet ? it takes time for it to work. I try not to drive it much after seafoaming in the tank and oil. That way it sits longer and dissolves the buildups better, versus driving a lot and running it through quickly. It made a huge difference in my 70k Hemi.

Mine didn't either. I also am considering doing it again. With 123K on mine, I thought I should see at least a little smoke.
