Which angel eye is the best to use with 10,000k to 20,000k HID's, the blue lens or the clear lens?

Re: How to Ver2: make 2008 HID WK headlights plug and play on 05-07 WK's

I have the 10,000k installed now and they are brighter than any other car I see on the road. 20,000k will bot be as bright as 10,000k but will definitely be a deeper blue which is what I want.

Anyway, which lens is best to use with HID's? Blue or clear? Also, will PIAA fog light covers fit the stock fog light?

Re: How to Ver2: make 2008 HID WK headlights plug and play on 05-07 WK's

SO this sped (a.k.a. ME) is am having some trouble installing OEM HID headlights and I couldn't get it to turn on. I began with the driver's side as I have read that it is a little trickier than passenger's side. Scott has helped me tremendously already but there is something I am still doing wrong.

Here is what I did...

1. I first attached the red (+) wire to battery.

2. I then attached the ground wire from the relay harness to the front fender. I didn't attach the relay harness to anything at this point but had it resting on the fender.

3. Below is image of the back of old headlight with all the guts...

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

4. I removed the guts (untwisted the turn signal and low?) and popped out the other two plugs. I connected the main power plug back to jeep and left everything else dangling for time being.

5. I then plugged the new and improved ballast power cable (female) into the only available plug (male) on the relay harness.

6. Next step is to plug low beam plug from my Jeep into only other available spot in relay harness. This is where I got hung up first...do I plug low beam from new HID headlights into relay harness or low beam from old headlights into relay harness? Image below shows wiring from new HID headlight next to relay...

7. Lastly, I wasn't sure if I now stick old plug (rightside of headlight from image 3) into same spot on new HID headlight or not...

Hopefully these pictures helped describe my problem. I probably am overanalyzing this...

bluer does not mean brighter, 3000k, 4300k, 5000k, 6000k are all much brighter than 10000k

OK...first remove the power and ground...check the fuses on the relay...you my have blown one by connecting the power and ground first. If you did..replace it with the same fuse. 2nd....plug the harness from your old light back into the main plug, connect the trun signal, marker light and high beam back where they where. 3rd-plug relay harness male plug into the blue female on the headlamp, then plug the low beam plug from the old headlight harness into the black female on the relay harness. 4th-run the ground to the fender and then run the positive to the battery.

Install complete! Thanks for all youe help Scott!

I got so hung up and didn't realize the new HID headlight wiring was unnecessary.

Truly an easy plug and play once I got past some small brainfarts...

Look at new crisp white projectors! Saahhweet!
