This I sooo simple. The only part I was somewhat nervous about was the integration of the IAT and that was as smooth as eggs. The functionality of the intake is quite simple... air goes through the filter, passes the sensor/hose, goes to the throttle body. Build it so all of these things happen and you're set!

Well I guess since on my old mazda it was a first year run so we got the whole intake thing going from AEM and Injen, and the issue was too much air freaked the car out, making it run too lean ( A/F Ratio got screwed) and it would throw check engine lights all the time! I guess this problem doesn't happen with our jeeps!

hey matt any reason you went with a dry filter? since it rains a lot are you considering getting a dry cover?

Hmm, when I moved from the garage to the driveway I didn't get any CEL's. I'll update tomorrow.

I did some research about filters and, by large, the consensus was dry > oiled. I read that oiled filters can cause problems with the engine - oil going to the engine.
