However, I'm curious why you want more capacity. The 5.7L HEMI lube oil capacity is already 7 qts
. A longer filter might give you an addl. 1/2 pint
I would submit that a good oil filter with an anti-drainback valve feature is the best choice. Minimizes the time (after engine start) that it takes for lube oil pressure/flow to reach the upper oil gallery and lifters. Engine start is the biggest wear point for most internal combustion engines.
