Re: Passenger side Headlamp

Hi local Jeeper are you changing the unit or just the lamp?
The lamp is an easy job it just rotates in the holder approx. 1/4 turn and comes out, But there is not much space between the rear of the headlight and the battery.

If you are changing the complete unit there is a bolt that you have to get from underneath the front of the Jeep up behind the front bumper, Bit of a pain and time consuming! A couple of threads about this on the site!!

Talking Re: Passenger side Headlamp

Hi I managed to remove the headlamp had to take of half of the bumper to get at the screws, looked as it would be difficult at first mind you I loosened the lower back screw through the fender at first, then realised the screw at the lower front was impossible to reach without removing part of the bumper. When I had removed the screws it was a wrestling match to get the headlamp out and the replacement back on,relieved to get it done.regards Martin.

Re: Passenger side Headlamp

Glad you got it sorted I left the front bolts out when I did mine (drilled side markers for US spec front lights) But replaced them when I took front end off to install Mopar tow hooks and Stainless front grilles!

Great to find someone else local in the UK!!
