Re: TB ground wire MOD!

Is this mod also good for 08 with the 3.7? Also if I'm reading the posts on this right. I would place a 8 ga. wire on a bolt of the throttle body, and the other side on the chassis to ground it?

Re: TB ground wire MOD!

I hooked up one of the ground wires from my Apexi super voltage ground stabilizer to the top left bolt on the TB a few weeks ago. It is smoother running with a bit better response and idles as smooth as when it came off the showroom floor.

The Apexi makes a noticable difference with the 5.7. Smoother, quieter, more responsive, better shifting. Connecting one of the grounds to the TB also helped. Combined with the 85 mm Ported TB I put n a few months earlier, it runs far better than when new, and has 80k. Going 30 mph with the MDS on, touch the throttle and it goes, with no delay.

Did you get around to doing this and if so did you notice any difference?
