Re: TB ground wire MOD!

I did the mod yesterday on my 5.7, AutoZone only had 4 gauge wire but the bigger gauge isnt an issue, and I have noticed my pedal/throttle is alot more sensitive then before, and I may just be dreaming but it seemed like i got a tad bit better MPG.

Re: TB ground wire MOD!

Update: I tried this out today on mine and once I removed the intake resonator all I saw was a plastic throttle body staring back at me... So no tb ground mod for me

Re: TB ground wire MOD!

I did this mod last night with some 8ga wire and I haven't noticed a huge difference, although maybe it's there and I can't feel it. Oh well only $3 in parts. I broke the cardinal rule of mods: don't do multiples at the same time. Did the seafoam treatment simultaneously since I was already under the hood. I felt some immediate difference, but I'm more inclined to attribute that to the seafoam...

Yes the TB Ground mod will work for your 08 HEMI. All of the WK Hemi's are DBW and have a metal housing for the TB, hence the TB grounding mod having some effect.

There's info here and there on how to do it, but I don't think there's an official writeup except for what is written at the beginning of this thread.
