TB ground wire MOD!

so i figured that the engineers at Chrysler had it under control but may be not. ive read about the tb ground wire mod and figured its Bs. i keep seeing it around so i went out to the shop and got out the volt meter. from the + to - terminals on the battery was 12.77volts. then from the + to the TB was 6.85volts. so a fabed up a wire real quick and hooked it up. noticed nothing at all at idle. have not driven it yet so response may have changed. either the TB only needs about half voltage to work properly or it was a design flaw.

but that was my experience with the TB wire mod. for anyone thinking about it.

It's a day later now, so after driving it, did you notice any difference? We, or at least I, await your results!

Re: TB ground wire MOD!

Btw-you shouldn't notice anything at idle. Hope you feel a difference. I did.

Re: TB ground wire MOD!

I did the t/body ground wire mod when I cleaned my t/body. I definitely noticed that it accelerated more smoothly than before.

Re: TB ground wire MOD!

It runs a lot better from just the TB cleaning, but that doesn't mean the wire did anything. The old racers adage is "one mod at a time" so you know exactly what each one does, or does not do.
