Torque management "snip"

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and new at owing a 06 GC Laredo 4x4. I've been doing a lot of reading on little mods people do here and there to improve the vehicle and what not. I saw a thread about snipping a wire on the older grand cherokees to make it shift better is that mod being done on this model? I also am wondering if any of you are just throwing an air filter on the throttle body as an intake? And removing the entire air cleaner system? Any advice is great and TIA

Re: Torque management "snip"

If I'm thinking of what you're thinking of, the 'snip' (disable torque management) worked on models that had a separate TCM and PCM.. but they are one module in your '06.
