anyone have issues with this "mod" unprogramming itself? did it on my srt and the next day the chime was back as usual

Hi I'm new to the forum and was wondering if those instructions would work on a 2012 jeep cherokee with the push start button and if anyone has had it work please reply, ive tried and cant mange to get mine to shut off thank you

Umm....how come my WK never chime when I don't wear the seat belt. I never did this trick to get rid of it.

All I get is the light in the dash.

I've tried doing the disable procedure numerous times and if I don't have the seat belt on, the chime still sounds 5 times.

Worked like a charm on the first try. Now if I could only get the light to go off. Might just order that rebel thing.
