Cool 2006 Jeep Commander outlets not working

The front and back used to work fine but went on a trip with the kids and they had lots plugged in so thought we blew a fuse but checked all and they are all fine. Any ideas of what may be the problem? Any help is appreciated!

Re: 2006 Jeep Commander outlets not working

in the 06 I dont think there was 120V outlets offered, I think its just the power outlets/cig lighters.

What fuses are you looking at, the fuses your looking for are going to be some 10amp (iirc) fuses in the fuse panel under the steering wheel, that is by FAR the most common problem with inop outlets... only one comes to mind that was something else. And usually they are all dead because the failed cell charger is blows one and the person was hooking it up because the phone was dying so they try ALL the rest of them in the car trying to keep the phone alive with no luck.

I'd have to say fuse. I'd double-check them.

Re: 2006 Jeep Commander outlets not working

You are talking about 12v outlets correct?
There 3 sets of fuses. Under the dash on the drivers side #4 20amp yellow
is rear power outlet. #9 20amp yellow is also power outlet.
#14 cigar Ltr 20amp yellow

Under the hood #2 is a pink 30amp fuse for power outlets.
#11 pink 30amp for cigar ltr./T-Tow

My bet is #2 under the hood.
