06 Jeep liberty 3.7L ran fine but now dont start

Hi my 06 liberty was running fine no problems, When pulled in to the driveway tonight was running fine than when put into reverse it just died and wont start now. Check for codes nothing found it turns over but wont fire. I can smell fuel so i dont think it is that. Any Help would be very appreciated. Thankyou

Did you solve this problem in the mean time? There are some faults who won't show up immediately, but at specific conditions. Since you smell fuel, seems that fuel supply and injection are working. Can be a problem with the ignition. A cam sensor for example could be the culprit. Probably a DRBIII scanner can tell more.
