Sounds like you're either low on coolant, or the fans behind the radiator have failed

Most probably the radiator cooling fan doesn´t work. Don´t know the liberty setup, but it could be a blown fuse, fan relay or the fan motor itself.

Re: 2004 liberty 3.7 liter overheating ac blowing hot

I am having the same issue with mine today. The radiator fan is not working. I checked the fuse first (OK), tested the fan directly to battery (OK). I just purchased a new temp sensor and need to find the relay in case I need to replace it. If you get this reply, please let me know how your issue was resolved and if you took it to the shop, what they charged. I am trying to do the simpler tasks on my own and this doesn't seem too complex but I will take all the help I can get.
thank you!
