My first post! Trying to find out if the rear fender flares need to be removed to remove the rear bumper cover. I have seen where they must be removed to remove the 2002-2007 Liberty (KJ)- so just wanting to know if it's the same with the 2008 -2012 Liberty's.

Yes.
NOTE: Only remove the rear portion of the right and left rear wheel opening flare moldings, do not remove the door flare moldings.

1. Remove the right and left side rear wheel opening flare moldings, (Refer to 23 - BODY/EXTERIOR/WHEEL OPENING FLARE MOLDING - REMOVAL).
2. Remove the six rivets (2) form the rear fascia (4).
3. Remove the four screws (3) from the rear fascia (4).
4. Separate the rear fascia (4) from the rear absorber (1) and remove the fascia from the vehicle.

I think I should have put the Coopers on as soon as I bought the KK. Handling has improved as well as ride quality. It definitely handled better in the snow. The Goodyears are junk and a mystery to me why they were standard issue.

Recently put AT/3's mine too - outstanding tires. They've been really good in snow & have definitely changed the ride for the better. I was chalking it up partially to going bigger than the OEM size. To the OP, what size did you put on yours?

Also, couldn't agree more about the wrangler ST's - absolute garbage.

I still have the Goodyear's and their days are numbered- the input you gave me on the Coopers will help on the replacement selection. I had Bridgestone on my XJ before- also was satisfied but they offered a good rebate that they are no longer are making. Thanks to eoericson and jerkylips for the input
