5W-20 or 5W-30 in 2011 KK?
My wife took the KK into the dealer for its first oil change and a detail. Both were on the house as a perk from the sales guy we worked with. Anyway, the shop used 5W-30 weight oil for the change. I know the manual suggests 5W-20 for the 2011 KK.
I talked to the shop and the guy said they're being recommended to use 5W-30. Anybody else have this happen? Is the oil weight different enough to make a significant difference in engine performance? I mean, I assume the dealership mechanics have changed oil/filter in a 2011 KK before so they know what oil to put in it. Should I take it back and have them put 20 weight in?
