Brake switch...

Can this cause the jeep to be stalling ?

I can drive but when I slow down to a stop sign SOMETIMES not always my engine will just shut off. and stall. ...

a mechanic thinks it's my tcc
but he said he's checking that brake switch to see if it could be that lol I just didn't think that could cause stalling ..

Re: Brake switch...

The TCC should already disengage when slowing down, before even applying the brakes, so i wonder if the brake switch would cause any problem here.
There is no fault code set in the PCM? It could be that the TCC is dragging, but the problem could also be with the idle control system.

Garage
Try cleaning the throttle body and if that dosent help then replace the IAC. (Idle air control).

I don't think it's the brake switch since its function is solely for activating the brake lights
