Driveshaft

I don't have a manual for my 06 Liberty. I want to change the rear U-joints. I took the 4 bolts out of the flange at the rear joint and it won't seperate from the joint assembly. I beat on it and tried everything, I finally gave up and trying to find info on what the problem is, what else can be holding this on? RUST?
Also I took the front boot loose going into the tranny. Is their a new seal that needs replaced once I pull the driveshaft off? My parts dealer couldn't find a number or even if there was one ???
Any help on this shaft removal would be appreciated....I was gonna spray it with some PB Blaster, but I find it hard to believe this thing is rust on here that bad.
