Fan Motor noise

2006 Jeep Liberty 3.7: Turning on the fan in heater, air or vent mode will create an on going vibration noise in the area of the fan. The vibration noise does not begin immediately. When the vibration noise begins, the noise stays in play from low to high setting of the fan. Pushing down on the protective cowl of the fan will reduce, but not eliminate the vibration noise significantly. I don't see anything that is loose, the belts are tight. Could this be a tensioner issue?
If anyone can help - greatly appreciated!
Kenny

Re: Fan Motor noise

Maybe that i read it wrongly, but it seems that you are talking about the radiator cooling fan due to the belt tensioner, but then it seems that you are talking about the AC blower motor, because of the low to high setting.
Not familiar with the Liberty, but does it have a fan driven by the engine? Any vibrational noise could be due to unbalance of the fan, or play on a bearing.
