Jeep gets stuck in snowy driveway

I have a 2003 Jeep Liberty. I have trouble sometimes both backing up and parking my Jeep whenever there is deep snow or ice in the driveway. It drives, well on flat snowy surfaces (roads) however.

Re: Jeep gets stuck in snowy driveway

I am assuming you are in 4WD obviously and have good tires with good thread on them? I have an 02 Sport besides my '11 Sport and have no problem with either one of them pulling in or backing out of my inclined driveway with 10" of snow on it.

I'll be getting a brand new set next fall before next winter. These tires don't appear worn, and yes...I'm using the 4 wheel drive. I notice that when I pull up or back out at a steady pace with my foot on the accelerator, it's not as challenging to get in or out.

Could speed in backing out, or coming in contribute to the difficulty?

Now you're learning how to drive in snow.
