Re: Milage

Don΄t know what the average mpg should be, but you could check the fuel pressure first. A too low pressure will lower the mpg.If you have a scanner you can check the O2 sensors, the 1-1 and 2-1. Their voltage should change frequently from 0.2-0.8V. Also check the STFT and LTFT (short term fuel trim and long term fuel trim)
These figures should be in the single digits during steady operation. Double digits during steady operation point to a problem.

You don't fix that. I'm averaging about the same.

I can get 21-22 highway, but it has to be STRAIGHT highway, no city.

City is definitely a disappointment.

Re: Milage

14 - 15 is what I get about town. Just took a trip out west and got upwards of 21. That was 75 mph up & down the hills. Got back to Indiana & Ohio and the mileage plummeted again. Guessing it has to do with the ethanol content of the gas - more ethanol = lower mileage.

I'll second that, well minus the ethanol. I have gotten consistent mileage through the entire time I've had my KK even before the ethanol mandates.
