passenger doors wont lock on 2004 jeep liberty ltd

HELP my passenger doors wont lock on my 2004 Jeep liberty ltd. The driver door and the rear door lock and the alarms work. But the locks feel like you cant even push them down. It did have some water that leaked into the fusebox during a rainstorm.

Re: passenger doors wont lock on 2004 jeep liberty ltd

You need to pull the passenger side door panels and check the plugs that connect to the power door lock in each door for continuity. If you are not getting power to them you may have a bad master switch. If you have power then check to make sure the linkage is not gunked up and preventing the lock rod from traveling far enough to activate the lock. It is also possible that you may have a sluggish actuator. Also check for dirty contacts on both the master switch and the switch in both doors and clean accordingly.
