Another thing to check is the upper control arm on the rear diff. Shaped like a boomerang. Has a ball joint at the center, mounted to the top of the diff, then each end bolts to the frame. Lay under it with a flash light trained on that ball joint and have someone rock the truck back and forth. Should be a little movement because it's rubber, but shouldn't jump up and down. Whole control arm on rock auto for 100 and 30 or so, or you can just change the ball joint.
