Re: Silverstar ultra

you need a 9007 bulb. the liberty's only have one bulb for high/low... https://www.sylvania.com/en-us/appli...l=1316&make=46. i've ran silverstar ultras in my jeep for over 6 years. they are definitely better than stock bulbs but have a short life. usually 2 years or so. make sure you wear gloves or don't touch the bulb when installing. it shortens the life if the bulb gets dirty.

Re: Silverstar ultra

not sure why, but i looked up bulbs for a 2007 liberty. not the 2012. you actually need a 9008 and they do make a SS ultra for it... https://www.sylvania.com/en-us/appli...l=1316&make=46

Re: Silverstar ultra

I just bought some today. They come under the number 9007 or H13, either way, it's the same lamp.

I was going to get these because I didnt want to spend the money on HIDs but as I read about the short life, it changed my mind. The SS ultra bulbs are $40-$50 per set. If you plan to keep the vehicle a while the HIDs will pay for themselves eventually a d perform better. Also, the jeep garage disciunt through xenondepot helps..

9007 and H13 are not the same bulb. 9008 and H13 are the same and yes they defiinitely make a difference but as others have stated they have a shorter life than the originals.
