01 jeep xj 4.0 passenger door
Ok so about a year ago we were having some bad weather and there was a bit of ice on windows and wife rolled down passenger side and window regulator broke. So, we, my wife and me, know never to do that again. She smokes, I don't but that 's another story. So I popped the door off and pulled out the regulator and jammed the window up w/a small piece of wood.
A year has passed, I have the window regulator, but here's the tricky part. I put all the parts in a can and that can has grown legs. So I dont know what I need as far as a part/punch list. Can anyone help me, I know one shouldn't start something unless they can fix it ASAP, but, life's a xxxxx then u die right.
You should have seen the look in the poor guys eyes @ advance auto when I told him what I had done.
Jeep's got 263,000 miles on it, 4.0 no problems except replacement of water pump she's been so good to me. I've also read that when it comes to the engine light coming on, go get it tested as taking the neg terminal off will only further make fixing it harder.
Tax times coming around the corner and we will get the engine light on, my dad said it's probably an o2 sensor but till then we just have to cross our fingers.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post
