Unhappy 1992 jeep cherokee laredo ignition??

Ok so I have a 92 jeep cherokee laredo and I have misplaced the key to it after a deployment with the u.s. navy. I have now returned home and can't drive my jeep til i get the ignition switch replaced Does anyone know how to remove the old ignition switch? I know on the newer ones its much easier due to it being a plastic housing, but on the 92 its a full metal housing and i can't seem to find the pin whole release either so I'm officially clueless on how to remove the old ignition switch. I have my new one already. Thank you to all the jeep lovers out there i will definitely post lots of pics when we finally get it iginition switch replaced so that i can put on all of my new items that i have bought for the jeep while i was on deployment.
