Re: Comanche?

It came with two yellow fogs in the middle and two parts that came out of the side to cover the head lights. When I purchased my truck, the right front was crushed and so was that part of the brush guard. I was able to remove them. Like I said before I kept it on until I replaced the front bumper with the tubular kind.

Nice pair of comanches. Always loved these. Would like to mod my Grand into a comanche

Re: Comanche?

Ever hear of the Archer Brothers? ... 1988 SCCA Truck Challenge champions.

I would restore your "Eliminator" to original specs.

The strange thing about it is that on the bed where it says Eliminator, it faintly says 4x4 underneath, but the truck is a 2x4. One of the long range goals is to actually make it a 4x4. The main question I have, is if any one has any ideas about any pre-existing roll bars that fit into the bed of the truck? I am hoping to go to the local junk yard and find one to pull. I know I have the option of trying to find a local shop to fab some for me, but I am trying to keep things cost effective.

Re: Comanche?

Nice! I remember my old neighbor had a red comanche and beat the hell out of it every time he drove it!
