Doorhandle

Hey, I'm new
The door handle on my 96 cherokee broke the other day. The button is jammed in there and I heard something snap and fall inside the door panel. Is this easy to replace and fix. It is the right front passengers, and the left rear passengers it's a four door.

Re: Doorhandle

yah you prolly broke the little clips on the back of the handle. take the door panel off and look at what it is there is one screw up by the mirror on the inside of the panel and three big screws underneath the armrest then it uses tabs to hold it on to the door. just pull the panel off carefully. it is not hard i used a flap tip screw driver to get my fingers inbetween the panel and the door. once you get tht off you should be abel to see inside the door and see what broke or if ff it just came off. you may have to replace the door handle, you can get them at junkyard or on ebay or most online auto stores.

let us know what you found.
