Exclamation HELP! Rear axle identity problems! HELP!

Have a 97 Cherokee sport, (non-abs) and can not for the life of me figure out what axle I have. Its either Dana 35 or a Chrysler 8.25. I heard if you have abs then you have the d35. No abs, and you more than likely have a 8.25. I need to buy a new rear yoke can't get the old one out because everyone says its a 1-1/8 socket, well mine isn't. My yoke nut is much larger! And I have spent literally hours upon hours trying to identify my rear axle. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys.

You can send an email to Chrysler customer support asking them for a build sheet for your vehicle, be sure to include your VIN
